About our coach
Danny Danielson is a Phenix City native, and a graduate of Russell County High School, where he holds the single season win record. He was a 2007 state runner up. He committed to the University of Alabama but deferred to the MLB’s amateurs draft in 2007. Danielson was selected in the 7th round as a RHP by the Los Angeles Dodgers. He owns Rip City Baseball, a youth travel baseball organization which serves the tri-city area. His family includes his sons Kayden and Rawlins, and his partner Shaley.
